I am a project person. For a couple years after I started my role in Calhoun County Government, I wrote the Calhoun County History Project. Sunset in 2022, it was a place for me to write creatively about the interesting dynamics I encountered.

Between 2008-2015, I wrote for digital and print news outlets in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I list some of the articles on LinkedIn, under publications.
